Samurai Monkey started with a sketch I posted on flickr. It had a lot of positive feedback and it was too much fun to resist from finishing it. So I thought that I would share my process a little bit since I also get many emails asking about how I go about my drawings.
Sometimes you have to finish what you’re currently working on before you can go out to play, other times it’s nice to have some peace and quiet to yourself. Either way, this guy is a little tied up at the moment.

I’ve finished updating the Somatic Theme to version 2.7 which, along with some minor updates and fixes, makes the theme compatible with iTunes 7. Thanks to Gena for helping with the udpates and testing.
I was doodling around just making some organic shapes and this strange creature popped out of the bushes so I smacked it on the wall and it made a pleasant mess.

Quite a few close people in my life have dealt with breast cancer and it’s effects on the one who has it as well as their family is tremendous. Learn all that you can about it so that if you can’t avoid it you can to protect yourself.
