Deep down in the long buried sewers of Rome, all the discarded gelato collected together and one day struck back at the evil people who didn't appreciate the tastiest treat ever made.

Originally based on the DVD player icon from the Invading Your Space set, this drawing has grown through many versions. Most of them were too untrained for me to settle with, but they did have a sort of simple and child-like appeal to them. The current version was achieved through many sketches in my sketchbook and even a study of a roman square outside the Pantheon from my trip to Italy.
