The Somatic OS X theme is complete! hooray! To use it, you need ShapeShifter 2.0. The new Desktops are bundled with the theme, but you can also download them seperately as well as download the theme in the goodies section.
I also added a zoom function to most of the art pieces and a few sketches for your viewing enjoyment ^_^
I’ve been wanting to make prints of my art for some time because physical products are always more fun. Well, I now have a wonderful large format printer that is helping me out with that. My apt is now all nice and decorated finally, and I thought I’d share
the fun and make a store on my site in case anyone is interested in buying some prints.
Also, I made some new (and a bit darker than usual) pieces as well and those are up in the art section.
Bundled with the release of Candybar 2.0 are two sets of Somatic icons. There is an updated and revamped version of the system replacements and there is also a set of application icons that contains most of the add-on set. For now, this will be a CandyBar exclusive release, but the full addons and sets will be available on my site in not too long. Drop me an email if you have any questions or comments.
There’s a new halloween set available for download called Eat Me. Just some fun folder icons for your desktop to hold temp files and what not.
I also have been playing around with gouche (kind of mix between watercolor and paint), and I scanned in two of the pictures I’ve painted recently.
As some people have noticed, I am currently working on a theme for OS X based on the Somatic icons. The theme is going quite well, and hopefully everyone will be happy and surprised with how it comes out. It’s been quite an experience so far, but it’s completely fun! Keep an eye out, it should be here quite soon, along with the add on icons and another treat also. muahahahaha
Speaking of WWII games, I found Silent Storm to be a lot of fun, not enough turn based action games out there ^_^
Puft iconset is now available, this is a subtle little system replacement that I’ve been using for a little whie. I really like how the nice colorful app icons stand out against the white folders and the toolbars. I thought you might enjoy it while I finish up the Somatic add-ons. As far as those go, I have a good bit done now (40ish) and it’ll be another few weeks before the rest are finished.
I was interviewed by the guys over at ArtOrg.
A Somatic add-on set is in the works that will include a bunch or applications that were requested, if there are any in particular that you’d like to see then let me know!
Much happier with this design, the last one was really bugging me.
